‘Darkhongah’ to be screened at Fajr filmfest

Iranian film ‘Darkhongah’ is slated to compete at the Fajr Film Festival.

Directed by Siavash Asadi, the film is to submit an application for the 37th edition of Fajr Film Festival in Iran.

In the flick, ifilm series star Amin Hayaee has taken up a starring role.

Amin Hayaee started his acting career in theater, and in 1991 appeared in his first movie, 'Two Travel Companions'.

He was nominated for the Fajr International Film Festival Crystal Simorgh for Best Male Actor in a Supporting Role by starring in ‘Slivers of the Sun’ (1995).

In 2004 and 2005, he was nominated for two Crystal Simorghs at Fajr International Film Festival for 'The Lucky Bride' (2002) and 'The Unwanted Woman' (2004).

His spectacular performances in films such as 'Coma' (2003) and 'Mom’s Guest' (2003) turned him into a superstar.

He has also won the Crystal Simorgh for Best Actor at the Fajr International Film Festival for his performance in 'Night' (2007).
